Louis Tomlinson has recently addressed the ongoing ‘Larry Stylinson’ conspiracy theories, shedding light on his current perspective regarding the matter.
In a candid discussion, Tomlinson admitted that despite his efforts, there seems to be little he can do to sway the beliefs of those convinced of a romantic involvement between him and Harry Styles.
Since the early days of One Direction’s rise to fame, the concept of Larry Stylinson has been a persistent phenomenon among fans. Originating from a theory suggesting a secret relationship between Harry and Louis, the theory has persisted over the years despite both artists refuting such claims on multiple occasions. Nevertheless, some fans continue to hold onto the idea that they were romantically involved, and Larry Stylinson has even made its way into popular TV shows like Euphoria.
In 2023, Louis seemed to express frustration with what he termed as “childish” conspiracy theories. Now, he has opted to delve deeper into his thoughts on the matter, providing insight into his true feelings regarding the ongoing speculation.
In a conversation with Brazilian outlet G1, Louis shared his reflections on the persistent Larry Stylinson theories. “What I realized a few years ago is that there is nothing I can say. There is nothing I can do to stop people who believe in this conspiracy. They’re so connected to what they believe that they will not see the truth for what it really is,” he disclosed.
Louis went on to acknowledge the intrigue surrounding various conspiracies that emerge in life. “I’m sure many people find all these little conspiracies that happen in life interesting. I’d be lying if I said it didn’t irritate me a little, but it’s the nature of the job,” he admitted. Louis emphasized the personal toll such speculation can take, especially concerning his son, Freddie, stating, “There are times when it gets very personal. I have my son, Freddie. He’s the most important person in my life.”
Unfortunately, the conspiracy theories haven’t always remained confined to Harry and Louis, occasionally extending to involve Louis’ family and his son Freddie.
Louis further reflected, “Occasionally, [these theories] end up addressing things that are a bit unfair. This is what we have now. There’s nothing I can do about it. Nothing I can say to stop people from inventing what they want to invent.”
Concluding his thoughts on the matter, Louis simply remarked, “So, so be it.”
